Pre-Season Fun Rides
We start the 2026 Season with pre-season activities such as Fun Rides. Fun rides are all about checking out the vibe of DEVO, our awesome rides, and checking in with other mountain bikers in our Piedmont community. We encourage both middle schoolers and their parents to ride with us! We ride at Joaquin Miller (JMP) and Redwood Regional Parks, meeting at Chabot Space & Science Center Parking Lot with the exception of our GRiT ride which will meet at the Elephant Barn in JMP.
Upcoming Pre-Season rides (Oct/Nov):
Sat Oct 18 10am-Noon Fun Ride #1 (FULL)
Sun Oct 26 10am-Noon Fun Ride #2
Sun Nov 2 10am-Noon Fun Ride #3
Sat Nov 15 - GRiT (Girls Riding Together) Ride (partnering with Oakland DEVO)
PARENT INFO Night for parents and student-athletes will be Tuesday Nov 18 @ 7pm at the PHS Student Center.

If you’re a parent or guardian that would like to ride with us please sign a waiver for the Fun Rides.
If you'd like to ride with us during the season we are stoked to have you as a Coach!
First, you will need to register in Pit Zone — email our Team Director Heather Robertson to be invited as a Coach. During the Pit Zone registration, you’ll be asked to pay a License Membership fee which includes the fee for required background check. Please let Coach Marisa know if you’d like to be reimbursed. We have some budget to cover this fee.
After registering in Pit Zone, you’ll also need to attain a Level 1 coach certification (about a 2hr commitment to webinar style training on how to handle concussions and risk management).
